Reason Gaming enter the Battlegrounds

written by Adam Heath October 8, 2017

This announcement is exciting for two reasons, one, we’re entering the fast-paced world of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, and two, we are welcoming back a legend from our past.

With the rapid growth of¬†PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, we’ve had our eye on how the competitive scene has been developing. We are also huge fans of this style of game after our brief stint in the H1Z1 King of the Kill scene earlier this year. With more and more tournaments cropping up, we feel that now is the right time to jump feet first into this scene, and there’s no better way to do that than with a familiar face at the helm.

warclown back in 2008 when he was part of the Reason Gaming’s Counter-Strike:Source team

Simen “warclown” Henriksen will be putting on his Reason jersey once more which was hung up almost a decade ago. He had a lot to say about rejoining Reason, and bringing over his Battlegrounds roster, so I’ll pass it over to him…

Its good to be back! Its been 7 years since I played competitively, and that was in Counter-Strike. My best time in esports were during my times in Reason Gaming back in 2008, so its safe to say im super stoked to be representing this brand once more.

This lineup is a mixture of new and old talent. Me, dox1, LATTERLI & odin have all played competitive CS. Hinlo and convenient have been avid gamers for a long time, but never played on a competitive level. However we are confident that the talent they bring to the table will help us out.

A big plus is that we are all Norwegian and we all know eachother. The chemistry is outstanding.

Our PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds roster is:

Simen “warclown” Henriksen
Mathias “convenient” Hauge
Eivind “hinlo” Hinlo
Terje “dox1” Bekkvang
Richard “odin” Nilsen
Kristian “LATTERLI” Granerud

Welcome to all of you, now go get us some chicken dinners!
